Welcome to East Canton

Please see the information below for the level in which you want to enroll your student.  For Kindergarten and up, all information and forms are digital to make it easier for you to register your student here at East Canton.  Families enrolling a Preschool child must complete both paper forms and digital forms.  The digital forms are located in a platform called Final Forms.  Please see below for more information.  There are forms you will have to complete and upload to us in your Final Forms account.  There will be a place to securely upload important identification documents as well.  Our district is extremely happy to have your family be a part of our family.  If you have any questions, please call the appropriate school, so we can answer them quickly.

Final Forms Instructions

To register a new student at East Canton Schools or complete first day forms for current students, you will need to create a parent account with Final Forms.  For new students, please have the following documents ready to upload in order to register your child: birth certificate, social security card, immunization record, proof of residence, and any situational documents that may apply such as court documents.  Your account with Final Forms is confidential and secure.  Final Forms will guide you through all of the documents you will need to register your new student or to complete first day forms.  The link in the box to the right will give you step by step instructions on how to create a parent account with Final Forms.  Once you have created a parent account, you will be able to easily add your new student, upload documents, and complete forms.  If there is a problem with registering with Final Forms or about any documentation, please contact the school.

First Day Forms

In an effort to reduce cost, the use of paper, and to make it easy for you, we have moved our first day forms online.  Please go to the Final Forms Registration box above to start filling out all necessary information.  Your student(s) should automatically be in your account.  If your student is not there, simply click on Add Student and enter the information.  Your student will then be pulled into your account.  When you enter an e-mail for your student, it is required that you use the school e-mail that has been issued to them.  All Student School e-mail addresses are firstname.lastname@osnaburglocal.org.  For those with more than one student, you will need to complete the forms for each individual.  If you have any questions, please call 330-488-0334.

Preschool Registration Information

Dear Parents,

Welcome to the Little Hornets Preschool Registration process for the 2024-2025 school year!  Early childhood education is vital to the development and well-being of young children.  Thank you for taking these steps to help your child become an engaged, life-long learner!  

In order to begin the registration process, please make sure to create a parent account with Final Forms.  The procedure on how to create an account is in the Final Forms box above.  Registration for the Little Hornets Preschool involves several steps as listed below:

1. Attend the Registration Evening on Wednesday, April 10th at 7:00p.m.

2. Gather the required documents listed below and bring them to registration

3.  Complete and turn in the Preschool Forms attached below

4.  Create a Parent Account on Final Forms and register your child with their digital forms

5.  Reserve an appointment for Preschool Screening on Thursday, April 25th by calling 330-488-0392

Because of the age requirements in Ohio’s Early Childhood Education grant, we will prioritize our Preschool slots for children who are three years old by the first day of school and not yet Kindergarten age eligible.  In late June you will be notified as to which session your child has been assigned or if they will be placed on the wait list at this time.  If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.  My e-mail address is rebecca.carter@osnaburglocal.org, and my office number is (330) 488-0392 ext. 156.  I look forward to meeting you and your child soon!

Kindergarten Registration

Dear Parents,

Welcome to East Canton Elementary Kindergarten Registration!  Children should be five years old by August 1, 2024 to meet the entrance age requirement for Kindergarten in the Osnaburg Local School District.  Ohio law does require that all children successfully complete Kindergarten before moving on to 1st grade.  The compulsory school age, or the minimum age in which a child must be enrolled in and attend school, is age 6.  We are honored to welcome you in our East Canton family and to have a part in this exciting time for you and your child!

In order to begin the registration process, please make sure to create a parent account with Final Forms.  The procedure on how to create an account is in the Final Forms box above.  Registration for Kindergarten at East Canton Elementary involves several steps as listed below:

1. Attend the Registration Evening on either Tuesday, April 9th at 7:00p.m. or Thursday, April 11th at 7:00p.m.

2. Gather the required documents listed below and bring them to registration

3.  Create a Parent Account on Final Forms and register your child with their digital forms

4.  Reserve an appointment for Kindergarten Screening on Friday, April 26th by calling 330-488-0392

New Student Registration

If you are registering a new student in grades 1st through 12th, please create a parent account on Final Forms.  In addition to the information that Final Forms will receive from you, East Canton Schools will require that you fill out a Student Records Release form.  This will enable our district to receive the academic records from your student's previous school.  Use the link below to fill out a form that you can upload into your Final Forms account.
